Mitsuhama Shopping Street
A port town that held the Matsuyama domain's shipping office in the Edo period, and the home of Mitsuhama-yaki — a local griddle dish descended from pre-war issen-yoshoku, with noodles and cabbage folded into a thin crepe-like batter. Renovated old townhouses now hold new cafés and shops.

A covered arcade running from beside Matsuyama-shi Station to Okaido. Its side lanes keep old shops serving Matsuyama-style nabeyaki udon — soft Iyo udon in sweet soy broth, served in an aluminium pot — and jakoten fish cakes are sold along the way.
