The food court on the second floor of Makishi Market features an interesting system where fish purchased on the first floor is cooked for you. Long-standing Okinawa soba restaurants often close early when they run out of broth, so please visit early for lunch. Steak is another Naha specialty left behind by the U.S. military culture.
