Conquering Xi'an Huimin Street — Yanglou Paomo and Biangbiang Noodles

5 Pins

Befitting its status as the starting point of the Silk Road, this city is a hub of Northwest Muslim cuisine. Huimin Street is most lively in the evening, but the crowds reach their peak, so be careful with your belongings. The proper way to enjoy Yanglou Paomo is to tear the bread into small pieces yourself and stuff it inside; the finer you tear it, the better the broth soaks in. Everything is within walking distance of Zhonglou Station on Subway Line 2.
