Guilin Rice Noodle Pilgrimage — The Classic Bowl of Mifen

5 Pins

The soul food of Guilin, a city straight out of a landscape painting, is undoubtedly Guilin Mifen (rice noodles). The authentic Lu Cai Fen style involves mixing the noodles without broth and then pouring the stock over them at the end. Since Mifen shops mainly do business from breakfast to lunch, it is best to visit in the morning. Dongxixiang and Zhengyanglou are located next to each other, so combining them for an evening snack makes for a neat itinerary.
