Katong Peranakan Culinary Walk — 328 Laksa and Pastel Shophouse Old Shops
Katong & Joo Chiat is a Peranakan museum in itself, with its pastel shophouse streets. The signature of 328 Katong Laksa is that the noodles are cut so they can be eaten with just a spoon. Since long-standing shops often close early in the afternoon or run out of ingredients, it is best to visit between morning and lunch, and Nyonya Kueh (rice cakes) are great to pack up as gifts.
