You have to go early in the morning to get a short line. The sea urchin and salmon roe special donburi is the best.
Sightseeing at Asakusa's representative temples and shopping streets. Also, a ningyoyaki snack.
Lunch was Edomae Tendon. Fried shrimp and eel piled high on top of the rice.
Finishing off with yakitori and a highball at the counter in a Shinjuku alley. The Showa vibe intact.
