1. Service Introduction and Purpose of Terms
TastyLog ('Service') is a comprehensive food travel platform offering restaurant posts, a food map, short-form content (Snap), gallery, community, crew recruitment, meetup clubs, stories, and news.
These Terms of Service define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Company and users.
By using this service, you are deemed to agree to these terms.
2. Definitions
'Company' means the operating entity that provides the TastyLog service.
'User' means members and non-members who use the service under these terms.
'Post' means content such as text, images, and videos posted by users on the service.
'TastySnap' means short-form video/image content uploaded by users.
'TastyGallery' means the service where users compile their restaurant collections into a public gallery.
'TastyCrew' means the service where users with shared interests create a crew (a recurring group) and conduct regular activities.
'TastyMeetup' means a one-day (instant) meetup service where a user recruits dining companions for a specific date on a short-term basis and shares real-time location.
'TastyRoute' means the service where users compose a restaurant travel route as markers (spots) on a map and share it with reviews, photos, and videos.
'Community' means the open bulletin board service where users freely post and interact.
'Collection' means the bookmark feature where users save and manage their favorite posts.
'Warning Information' means travel-related caution info such as overcharging and tourist scams shared by users.
'AI Recommendation' means curated content provided to users via AI algorithms.
3. Services Provided
The service provides the following features:
- Restaurant Posts: sharing and exploring restaurant info with location, reviews, images, and videos
- TastySnap: short-form video/image feed (TikTok-style)
- TastyMap: map-based restaurant discovery and location sharing
- TastyGallery: public gallery of user restaurant collections
- TastyCrew: recurring group (crew) creation, schedule management, and board/chat/album operations
- TastyMeetup: one-day (instant) companion recruitment and real-time location sharing
- TastyRoute: composing and sharing restaurant travel routes as map markers
- Community: category-based open bulletin board
- Collections/Bookmarks: saving and managing posts, snaps, and galleries
- Search: integrated AI-powered keyword search
- TastyStory: curated editorial content
- TastyNews: food and travel news
The Company may change or discontinue services without prior notice.
4. TastyCrew Service
4.1. Overview
TastyCrew is a service where users with shared interests create a crew (a recurring group), plan and manage regular schedules, and operate the crew's boards, chats, and albums.
4.2. Company's Role and Limitation of Liability
The Company only provides the platform for crew creation and operation and assumes no liability for accidents, disputes, or damages occurring during crew activities.
The Company does not guarantee the accuracy or safety of information posted by crew leaders or administrators.
The Company does not verify the identity, safety, legality, or truthfulness of crew members, and is not legally responsible for disputes, fraud, criminal acts, or accidents between members.
4.3. Crew Leader/Admin Obligations
- Ensure crew activities comply with applicable laws and these Terms
- Do not disclose members' personal information to third parties
- Do not operate the crew for commercial or illegal purposes
- Do not provide adult content or alcohol to minor members
4.4. User Obligations and Precautions
- Personally verify and take responsibility for your own safety when attending crew meetups/schedules
- Verify the other party's identity before offline meetups and meet in public places
- Do not share personal information (address, ID number, bank account, etc.) with others
- Minors must not participate in meetups alone without guardian consent
- Do not demand money, make sexual advances, or propose illegal acts to other members
4.5. Offline Meetup Safety Rules (Required)
- Hold offline regular meetups in public places (cafes, restaurants, etc.) whenever possible
- Share your meetup schedule and location with family or friends in advance
- If you feel unsafe, immediately stop the meetup and move to a safe location
4.6. Prohibited Activities
- Operating a crew for commercial promotion, MLM, or religious solicitation
- Posting hate speech against a specific race, gender, or religion
- Using the crew's name for the exchange of money or fraud
- Inappropriate approaches toward minors
4.7. Disclaimer
The Company is not responsible for any accidents, disputes, property damage, or personal injury (violence, fraud, sexual crimes, food poisoning, traffic accidents, etc.) arising during meetup activities through the TastyCrew service. Users are fully responsible for their own safety and judgment, and the Company serves only as an intermediary platform.
5. TastyMeetup Service
5.1. Overview
TastyMeetup is a one-day (instant) meetup service where a user recruits dining companions for a specific date on a short-term basis and shares real-time location.
5.2. Company's Role and Limitation of Liability
The Company only provides a platform for intermediating meetups between users and assumes no liability for actual meetups or accidents arising from them.
The Company does not verify the identity, safety, legality, or truthfulness of other users.
The Company is not legally responsible for disputes, fraud, criminal acts, or accidents between users.
5.3. User Obligations and Precautions
Users must observe the following when using the TastyMeetup service:
- Verify the other party's identity before meeting and meet in public places
- Do not share personal information (address, ID number, bank account, etc.) with others
- Minors must not participate in meetups alone without guardian consent
- Use location sharing only for the purpose of the meetup and stop immediately after the meetup ends
- Do not demand money, make sexual advances, or propose illegal acts to the other party
5.4. Safety Rules (Required)
- First meetings must be in public places (cafes, restaurants, etc.)
- Share your meetup schedule, location, and the other party's info with family or friends
- If you feel unsafe, immediately stop the meetup and move to a safe location
5.5. Prohibited Activities
- Sexual crimes including prostitution, sexual harassment, or stalking
- Criminal acts including fraud, extortion, or threats
- Meetups for commercial purposes including MLM, illegal business, or religious solicitation
- Inappropriate approaches toward minors
5.6. Disclaimer
The Company is not responsible for any disputes, violence, fraud, sexual crimes, food poisoning, traffic accidents, or any other incidents arising from meetups between users through the TastyMeetup service. Users are fully responsible for their own safety and judgment, and the Company serves only as an intermediary platform.
6. TastyGallery Service
6.1. Overview
TastyGallery is a service where users compile their restaurant visits into collections and publish them as public galleries.
6.2. Accuracy Disclaimer
Restaurant information in galleries (location, hours, menu, prices, etc.) is user-generated. The Company does not guarantee its accuracy or currency. Please confirm with the restaurant directly before visiting.
6.3. Copyright
Copyright of images and videos in galleries belongs to the respective users. Users must not post others' works without permission.
By publishing a gallery, users grant the Company a non-exclusive license to display and distribute the content within the service.
6.4. Restrictions
Galleries that are inappropriate or infringe copyrights may be removed without prior notice.
7. TastySnap Service
7.1. Overview
TastySnap is a service where users upload short-form food-related videos and images shared in a feed format.
7.2. Content Moderation
The Company operates an automated content moderation system for uploaded images and videos.
If inappropriate content (adult content, violence, hate speech, etc.) is detected, posts may be restricted or accounts suspended.
Automated moderation may produce false positives; users may appeal through customer support.
7.3. Copyright and Portrait Rights
Users may only upload content they have personally filmed or own the rights to.
Consent must be obtained when posting videos that identify other individuals.
Responsibility for copyright or portrait right disputes arising from unauthorized posts lies with the posting user.
7.4. Prohibited Content
- Content containing adult material, nudity, or obscene expressions
- Content containing violence, self-harm, or hate speech
- Content infringing others' copyright or portrait rights
- False information, spam, or content for commercial advertising purposes
8. Community Service
8.1. Overview
The Community is a space where users freely post and interact on food and travel topics.
8.2. User Responsibility
Legal responsibility for all community content rests with the user who posted it.
The Company does not pre-screen community posts and has no obligation to intervene in disputes between users.
8.3. Prohibited Activities
- Spreading false information or defaming specific businesses or individuals
- Posting pornographic or violent material
- Spam, flooding, or repeated posting of promotional content
- Posting others' personal information without consent
9. AI Search and Recommendation
9.1. Overview
The service uses AI algorithms to provide personalized search results and content recommendations.
9.2. Disclaimer
AI recommendations are automatically generated by algorithms; the Company does not guarantee their accuracy or suitability.
AI results should be used for reference only; users must make final judgments themselves.
The Company is not responsible for damages caused by algorithmic errors or bias.
10. TastyRoute Service
10.1. Overview
TastyRoute is a service where users compose a restaurant travel route as markers (spots) on a map and share it with reviews, photos, videos, and external links, so that other users can refer to it when visiting.
10.2. Company's Role and Limitation of Liability
All information in a TastyRoute (route, places, reviews, media, etc.) is user-generated content created voluntarily by users, and the Company does not guarantee its accuracy, timeliness, or safety.
The Company is not responsible for the operating status, hygiene, pricing, or accessibility of places included in a route.
The Company is not legally responsible for any accidents, disputes, or damages (traffic accidents, food poisoning, theft, etc.) arising while a user visits or travels by referring to a TastyRoute.
10.3. User Obligations
- TastyRoute information is for reference only; users must visit at their own discretion and risk
- Do not post false or exaggerated routes or reviews
- Do not use others' works (photos, videos, etc.) without authorization
- Do not create routes to defame a specific business or interfere with its operations
10.4. Disclaimer
The Company is not responsible for any accidents, disputes, property damage, or personal injury arising from offline visits or travel mediated by TastyRoute, and serves only as an intermediary platform.
11. User Obligations
Users must not:
- Post false information or deceive others
- Post content that defames or insults others
- Infringe others' intellectual property rights including copyright and portrait rights
- Post crime-related content
- Interfere with the normal operation of the service
- Post false warning information for malicious purposes
- Post content for the purpose of malicious defamation or business interference
- Post content harmful to minors
- Collect or distribute others' personal information in violation of privacy laws
12. UGC (User-Generated Content) Disclaimer (Important)
All UGC on this service (posts, snaps, galleries, community content, warning information, etc.) reflects users' subjective experiences and opinions.
The Company does not guarantee the accuracy, authenticity, or currency of UGC.
UGC should be used for reference only; users must rely on their own judgment and responsibility.
The Company assumes no legal liability for any damages arising from UGC.
Users who post false or malicious information may be subject to civil and criminal liability under applicable laws.
13. Zero-Tolerance for Objectionable Content; Reporting and Blocking (Important)
The Company maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward objectionable content and abusive users. By agreeing to these Terms, you agree to this zero-tolerance policy.
Users must not post objectionable content, including pornography, violence, hate speech, harassment, threats, discrimination, or unlawful acts. If you encounter such content, you may report it to the Company through the in-service reporting feature.
Users may block other users who behave inappropriately or whose content they find objectionable; once blocked, that user's content and contact will no longer be displayed to you.
The Company will review reported violating content within 24 hours of receipt and, where a violation is confirmed, will remove the content and suspend or permanently eject the offending user.
Depending on the severity of the violation, the Company may remove content, suspend accounts, or permanently restrict access without prior notice.
14. Content Management and Responsibility
Copyright and legal responsibility for posts rests with the user who created them.
The Company does not pre-screen content but may delete or move content without prior notice if it:
- Violates these Terms
- Infringes others' rights
- Violates applicable laws
- Is determined to be clearly false
- Is detected as inappropriate by automated content moderation
Users must ensure their posts do not infringe others' rights.
15. Prohibition of Defamation and Business Interference
Users must not post false information about specific businesses or individuals that damages their reputation.
Posting false information with malicious intent to interfere with a business's operations is prohibited.
The Company may immediately delete such content, restrict user access, or provide information to relevant authorities.
Affected businesses or individuals may request removal, and the Company will take appropriate action after verification.
16. Limitation of Company Liability
The Company is not legally responsible for:
- Service interruptions due to force majeure (natural disasters, war, system failures, etc.)
- Accuracy or reliability of user-generated information
- Disputes between users or between users and third parties
- Accidents, disputes, or damages during TastyCrew, TastyMeetup, or TastyRoute activities
- Accuracy or suitability of AI recommendations
- Disadvantages caused by false positives in content moderation
- Damages arising from external links (YouTube, Google Maps, etc.)
The Company assumes no liability for the use of free services except as required by applicable law.
17. Dispute Resolution
Disputes regarding these Terms and service use shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
Litigation arising from service use shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court with jurisdiction over the Company's headquarters.
18. Changes to Terms
The Company may change these Terms as necessary, and changes will be announced on the service.
Changed Terms take effect 7 days after the announcement.
If users do not agree to the changed Terms, they may stop using the service and withdraw their membership.
